The main goal of MAP course is to present the open research problems regarding methods and algorithms for Task Scheduling and Resource Management in Distributed Systems.The course activity is oriented on presentations. For this course the main topics are: Introduction to Scheduling problem in Distributed Systems, Task Scheduling and Resource Management Systems, Classical Scheduling Algorithms and Methods, Cluster and Grid Scheduling, P2P Scheduling, CPU intensive and DATA intensive Tasks Scheduling, DAG Scheduling, Optimization Techniques for Scheduling Problem, Applications of Scheduling Methods and Algorithms.
